Dear Chief Beams,

I see by today's Oak Ridger that "a case" on Commissioner Scarbrough has been turned over to the District Attorney's office. We have received nothing as of this date.

From the article it appears to be a routine police matter. This should be treated no differently just because the subject is a Commissioner.

Unless there is something aside from politics which distinguishes this case from the routine, please do not "turn it over" to us.
