Dear Sheriff Manning,

We have communicated with respect to possible sanctions when a Sheriff fails to serve all of the orders [capias, probation violation warrants, etc.] of a criminal court. Enclosed is a copy of TCA 40-13-304 statute dealing with capias issued after grand jury indictment making failure to execute such a capias through negligence a misdemeanor.
