QUESTION: WHAT ARE THE RIGHTS OF A JUDGE?
ANSWER: Judges have no "rights". Defendants, victims, and the State have
rights.
Judges have duties and responsibilities, for example at Canon 3. B. (4)
"A judge shall be patient, dignified, and courteous to litigants,
jurors, witnesses, lawyers and others with whom the judge deals
in an official capacity..."
Jim Ramsey, District Attorney General
